Position Overview

We are seeking a Senior Business Development Manager to join our EU Commercial Team. This role is pivotal in expanding our reach within the German market by engaging with European shippers and enhancing their experience with our services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Acquire new customers to utilize our innovative logistics solutions.
  • Explore and penetrate new market segments to broaden our customer base.
  • Ensure sustained engagement with our clients, proactively addressing their challenges.
  • Establish and nurture relationships with essential stakeholders.
  • Act as the representative voice of our customers to influence product development.
  • Lead initiatives aimed at resolving customer issues and enhancing their overall experience.
About Our Team

Amazon Freight (AF) operates as a B2B start-up within Amazon Transportation Services across Europe. Our platform empowers external businesses, referred to as shippers, to leverage Amazon's advanced transportation technology and extensive network for bulk product transportation.

This role is situated within the Business Development team, which is integral to the Amazon Freight Commercial team. The focus will be on acquiring new customers in the German market, customizing our offerings to meet client needs, and securing significant business agreements.

Basic Qualifications
  • A relevant degree.
  • Proven experience in business development, sales, or partnership management.
  • Ability to utilize data and metrics to drive strategic improvements.
  • Fluency in both written and spoken German.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in online advertising or technology-driven products/services.
  • Background in the freight or logistics industry.
