We are seeking a highly skilled Business Developer to join our EU Commercial Team. This role is pivotal in driving the recruitment of European Shippers to our innovative service, enhancing Shipper relationships, and ensuring an exceptional Shipper experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and recruit new customers to leverage our products and services.
- Explore new market segments and expand our customer base with top-tier service offerings.
- Maintain robust engagement levels with our customers and proactively address their challenges.
- Develop strong relationships with key stakeholders across our portfolio.
- Act as the voice of the customer to influence product development and enhancements.
- Lead initiatives aimed at resolving customer pain points and enhancing the Shipper experience.
About the Team
Amazon Freight (AF) operates as a B2B start-up within Amazon Transportation Services across Europe. Our platform enables external businesses (shippers) to utilize Amazon's advanced transportation technology and network for bulk product transport throughout Europe. This innovative, technology-driven solution caters to the logistics needs of both small and large enterprises and is rapidly expanding.
This role is integral to the Business Development team within the Amazon Freight Commercial division, focusing on customer acquisition in the UK market. The Business Developer will be responsible for attracting new businesses, customizing our offerings to meet customer needs, and securing impactful business agreements for Amazon Freight.
Basic Qualifications
- A relevant degree.
- Experience in business development, partner management, sales, or alliances.
- Proficient in utilizing data and metrics to drive improvements.
- Fluent in written and spoken German.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in online advertising or high-tech products/services.
- Background in the Freight industry.
