Job Overview

We are seeking a talented Business Developer to join our EU Commercial Team at Amazon EU SARL (Germany Branch) - D70. This role is pivotal in expanding our services by engaging with European Shippers and enhancing their experience with our offerings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Engage and recruit new customers to leverage our innovative products and services.
  • Explore and penetrate new market segments to broaden our customer base with exceptional service.
  • Maintain strong engagement levels with our customers, proactively addressing their challenges.
  • Develop and nurture relationships with key stakeholders across our portfolio.
  • Act as the voice of the customer to influence product development and enhancements.
  • Lead initiatives aimed at resolving customer pain points and enhancing the overall shipper experience.
About Our Team

Amazon Freight (AF) operates as a B2B start-up within Amazon Transportation Services across Europe. Our platform enables external businesses, referred to as "shippers," to utilize Amazon's advanced transportation technology and network for bulk product transportation throughout Europe.

This role is situated within the Business Development team, focusing on customer acquisition in the German market. Our Business Developer will be responsible for attracting new businesses, customizing our product offerings to meet customer needs, and finalizing significant business agreements with key shippers.

Basic Qualifications
  • A relevant degree.
  • Experience in business development, partner relations, sales, or alliance management.
  • Proficiency in utilizing data and metrics to drive enhancements.
  • Fluency in written and spoken German.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in online advertising or high-tech products/services.
  • Background in the freight industry.
