Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Business Development Manager to join our team. As a key member of our growth team, you will play a pivotal role in driving Orbem's expansion into new markets, identifying opportunities, and building strategic relationships with key stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Market Analysis
    • Conduct thorough market research, competitive analysis, and customer segmentation to inform business decisions
    • Generate inroads into new markets to quickly validate ideas and hypotheses
    • Lead the development and execution of comprehensive market entry strategies for new industries and regions
  • Customer Relationship Management
    • Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders in target industries, including potential customers and decision-makers
  • Cross-functional Collaboration
    • Work closely with imaging and product teams to ensure alignment and successful execution during the evaluation and launch of new opportunities
  • Industry Presence
    • Represent Orbem at industry events, conferences, and trade shows, showcasing our technology and generating new ideas
Requirements
  • Experience
    • 3+ years of experience in a fast-paced environment (consulting, PE, investment banking, business development) with a demonstrated track record of identifying and creating new business opportunities
  • Skills
    • Ability to think strategically, analyze complex market dynamics, and develop actionable plans to achieve business objectives
    • Curiosity to dive deep into new markets within food, healthcare, and beyond
    • Ability to identify and build relationships with key stakeholders
  • Language
    • Fluency in German and English, with additional languages being a significant plus
