Amazon Freight is seeking a Business Development Manager to spearhead the growth of our strategic portfolios through effective relationship management, engagement initiatives, and delivering exceptional customer experiences. This role involves analyzing market trends to uncover opportunities, leveraging a robust network of industry connections to gather market insights, and executing on various business development initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Discover new market segments and establish connections with strategic customers by providing exemplary service.
  • Maintain proactive engagement with potential clients and identify their challenges.
  • Foster relationships with key stakeholders across the business portfolio.
  • Act as the customer advocate to influence product development and enhancements.
  • Lead complex projects aimed at addressing customer pain points and enhancing their experience.
  • Effectively communicate ideas, both verbally and in writing, to diverse audiences, including crafting narratives, business cases, and strategic documentation.
About the Team

The Amazon Transportation Service (ATS) team is integral to Amazon's operational success. As part of ATS, you will join a diverse group that plays a crucial role in our logistics and transportation efficiency. Utilizing air, sea, and road transport, along with state-of-the-art sortation centers, our team ensures that Amazon's transportation operates at peak efficiency. We leverage data to drive informed decisions, making Amazon more innovative and efficient.

Basic Qualifications

  • A degree.
  • Advanced proficiency in both written and spoken German and English.
  • Experience in developing, negotiating, and executing business agreements.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in utilizing data or anecdotal evidence to influence business decisions.
  • Experience in identifying, negotiating, and executing complex legal agreements.
  • Relevant work experience in supply chain management, business development, or consulting.
  • Advanced degree.
  • Proficiency in additional EU languages.
