Role Overview:
To propel the next stage of Amazon Advertising's evolution in Germany, we are seeking a Senior Agency Development Executive who is enthusiastic about cultivating and steering strategic alliances with the largest agencies in the area. You will manage and foster agency relationships at the highest levels.

Senior Agency Development Executives are responsible for driving Amazon Advertising revenue, enhancing the adoption of Amazon Ads tools, and increasing the overall advertiser portfolio penetration within each agency.

Exhibiting a consultative approach, candidates must possess exceptional communication skills, be adept at engaging with C-Level executives within agencies and advertisers, and be capable of building trust with senior stakeholders across various Amazon teams.

Moreover, candidates should be comfortable working with intricate data sets and possess the ability to innovate and simplify for clients.

A robust understanding of the programmatic trading environment is essential.

Successful candidates will be self-driven, comfortable working independently, and highly results-oriented to contribute to Amazon Advertising's ambitious growth objectives.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Formulate and implement a customer-centric growth strategy for media agencies in Germany.
  • Develop and oversee a comprehensive engagement strategy, including business evaluations.
  • Create commercial frameworks to generate additional growth opportunities across traded and programmatic offerings.
  • Spearhead the education and empowerment of key agency functions, including the organization of agency-wide events.
  • Identify collaborative opportunities with agencies around large-scale creative solutions, including proactive engagement with creative firms.
  • Collaborate with global teams to uncover transformative opportunities for agency partnerships facilitated by Amazon Advertising products.
Basic Qualifications:
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in media sales, marketing, or business development.
  • A proven history of achieving results and driving revenue growth.
  • Proficiency in engaging and negotiating at the C-Level within agencies and agency networks.
  • Experience in B2B sales.
  • Expertise in managing both internal and external relationships.
  • Strong background in digital advertising and knowledge of the programmatic landscape.
  • Excellent analytical skills and confidence in utilizing data.
  • A Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification.
  • Outstanding organizational, relationship-building, and communication skills (both written and verbal).
  • Proficiency in both German and English.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • A Bachelor's degree in Economics, Marketing, Advertising, Statistics, Engineering, or Business; an MBA is advantageous.
  • Previous experience in agency development at a leading media organization.
  • Prior experience working at a major media agency.
