Position Overview:
This role encompasses responsibilities as a member of the Fraunhofer Institute for Cell Therapy and Immunology, specifically within the Bioanalytics and Bioprocesses branch. We are looking for individuals with a distinguished international research background in bioanalytics combined with data science.

Research Focus:
The ideal candidate will concentrate on complex data analysis, employing mathematical techniques to innovate processes in analytical and bio-chemistry. This includes the development of intelligent sensors, bio/chemosensors, and the optimization of bioprocesses.

Essential Qualifications:
Applicants should possess expertise in natural sciences, process or automation engineering, mathematics with a technical orientation, or analytical chemistry with an emphasis on chemometrics and artificial intelligence. A strong research agenda in medical applications, particularly in digital point-of-care diagnostics and the identification and validation of biomarkers for geriatric medicine, is crucial.
