Research ExpectationsWe are looking for candidates with a proven international reputation in research, particularly in the intersection of bioanalytics and data science. The ideal applicant will focus on:
- Complex data analysis utilizing mathematical methodologies.
- Development of processes in analytical and bio-chemistry.
- Creation of intelligent sensors and bio/chemosensors.
- Optimization of bioprocesses.
Applicants should possess expertise in natural sciences, process or automation engineering, and have a solid understanding of mathematics and computer science. A background in analytical chemistry with an emphasis on chemometrics and artificial intelligence is crucial.
Research and Teaching ResponsibilitiesThe successful candidate will engage in research related to medical applications, with a focus on:
- Digital point-of-care diagnostics.
- Identification and validation of biomarkers for geriatric medicine.
Furthermore, the candidate will be responsible for teaching in innovative programs, particularly in the English-language master’s program in Public Health, Exercise, and Nutrition, representing the full scope of bioanalytics and data science within the life sciences.
