About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sales Director to lead our sales efforts in the DACH region. As the Head of Sales for this critical market, you will be responsible for driving business growth, expanding our customer base, and achieving sales targets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and lead a team of sales professionals to achieve sales targets and expand our customer base.
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to penetrate new markets and increase revenue.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and partners.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business opportunities and develop solutions.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to stay up-to-date on industry trends and competitor activity.
  • Develop and manage sales forecasts, budgets, and reports to ensure accurate tracking of sales performance.
  • Identify and capitalize on new business opportunities through strategic partnerships and alliances.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends, competitor activity, and market developments to ensure our sales strategies remain effective.
Requirements
  • Proven track record of success in sales leadership roles, with a minimum of 5 years of experience.
  • Strong understanding of the logistics and transportation industry, with a focus on sales and marketing.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers, partners, and internal stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data and develop effective solutions.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Fluent German and excellent written and spoken English skills.
