About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity to join National Instruments Germany GmbH as a Sales Development Engineer. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in engineering or business administration, excellent language proficiency in German and English, and a proven track record of sales success.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Execute a balanced strategy to qualify inbound and outbound leads, focusing on business impact and pipeline generation.
  • Develop and execute prospecting activities to connect with potential customers and promote NI's value proposition.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to identify and pursue new business opportunities, leveraging industry knowledge and account insights.
  • Provide coaching and mentorship to junior team members, driving growth and development within the EMEA Sales Development team.
  • Contribute to the development of the global Sales Development team, shaping the future of the organization and driving business growth.
Requirements:
  • Engineering or MBA background
  • Excellent German and English language proficiency
  • Proactivity in pursuing sales opportunities
  • Adaptability and flexibility in a fast-paced sales environment
  • Motivation to provide customers with industry and application insight
