Business Development Manager for Inbound Sales in Germany

We are looking for a highly motivated Business Development Manager to join our team at TENIOS GmbH. This role will involve driving and generating revenue for our business unit by working on inbound sales inquiries, as well as identifying opportunities to upsell additional products and services to existing customers.
About the RoleThe ideal candidate will have 1.5+ years of successful value-based sales experience, particularly in prospecting and qualifying different B2B decision makers. They should have a strong understanding of sales techniques, such as BANT, sales funnel, and pipeline management, and be able to engage with customers to seek more areas of revenue realization (value selling vs. transactional selling).
In addition, they should have a basic understanding of the sales cycle/sales model and consultative selling approach. Prior IT sales background and an understanding of PaaS sales would be a plus, as well as experience of selling conversational AI-based products.
The salary for this role is estimated to be around €60,000 - €80,000 per year, depending on experience. Benefits include different formats of employment, hybrid work options, learning and development opportunities, great career and competitive salary, private health insurance, and Multisport cards.
Responsibilities- Timely processing of inbound inquiries including analysis of potential customers, verification of their business flows and needs, and preparation of custom offers.
- Identifying opportunities where a product specialist team can be involved to increase the deal size.
- Understanding of pipeline management, working on opportunities/leads in Hubspot, and being able to present a report on a weekly basis to the supervisor.
- Conducting demo calls with the goal of converting potential clients' requests into deals and contracts.
- Managing the list of existing customers, answering their questions, and finding opportunities to upsell and cross-sell.
- Continuously develop knowledge of Tenios and Apifonica products and the benefits we provide to potential customers.
- Native German, business English.
