Your primary responsibility as Business Development Manager Benelux will be to develop and implement a comprehensive sales structure and management strategy that aligns with our long-term vision, mission, values, and goals. This includes opening new market segments, promoting strategic market development, and collaborating with our sales team to achieve our objectives.

Your Key Responsibilities
  • Implement Motul's overall business strategy and goals in the Benelux region.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with distributors, wholesalers, repair shops, and MOTUL customers.
  • Actively acquire new customers in the motorcycle and automotive industries.
  • Prepare and deliver customer offers in close cooperation with distributors, wholesalers, and workshops.
  • Participate in sales meetings with customers, wholesalers, and distributors.
Requirements and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • A university degree (Bachelor) and minimum 5 years of working experience in Business Development and Sales, preferably in the lubricants or automotive sector.
  • At least 3 years of experience in leading sales and/or marketing teams.
  • General knowledge of operations-related systems (ERP) and profound knowledge of MS Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word).
  • Field-tested technical skills and project management abilities.
  • Financial understanding and experience, including knowledge of costing and margin calculations, P&L, and Supply Chain.
  • Demonstrable success in negotiating high-value contracts with customers.
  • Knowledge of and experience in developing a marketing and promotion strategy on a global level.
