Business Development Manager - Ciena Networking

We are seeking a committed Business Development Manager to enhance our operations at TD SYNNEX Germany GmbH & Co. OHG 3. In this position, you will play a crucial role in the strategic growth and enhancement of our business through collaboration with Ciena, a premier provider of Optical-Networking and Optical-Routing systems. Your primary responsibilities will encompass identifying new market potentials, fostering relationships with prospective clients, and acting as the principal liaison for IT system houses.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Formulate and execute comprehensive business strategies
  • Establish revenue targets and ensure their realization
  • Acquire and nurture both new and existing client relationships
  • Build and sustain partnerships with key stakeholders
  • Conduct client visits and organize events
  • Develop impactful presentations and detailed reports
  • Collaborate effectively with sales and marketing departments
  • Maintain regular communication with Ciena
  • Work in close coordination with our European Networking Team

Your Expertise:

  • Proven experience in Business Development or a similar role
  • In-depth knowledge of the IT sector and networking technologies
  • Demonstrated success in sales and client acquisition
  • Exceptional communication and presentation capabilities
  • Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills
  • Highly driven with an entrepreneurial approach
  • Willingness to travel up to 20%
  • Fluency in both German and English
