Senior Knowledge Analyst

As a Lead Knowledge Analyst within the Financial Institutions Practice Area at BCG, you will be an integral part of a dynamic global team dedicated to delivering exceptional value to clients through specialized expertise and established knowledge assets. Your role will involve contributing to proposals and client engagements by providing insightful analyses and impactful recommendations.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
In this role, you will:
- Address complex client challenges by employing relevant analytical methodologies and tailored solutions.
- Engage with and manage a diverse array of senior stakeholders, ensuring effective communication tailored to various audience needs.
- Oversee internal projects, demonstrating the ability to prioritize tasks and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
- Independently spearhead the creation of intellectual property and marketing materials, collaborating with senior BCG and industry experts.
- Provide training, coaching, and mentorship to junior team members, fostering their professional development.
- Navigate an evolving and intricate environment, remaining comfortable with ambiguity and rapid changes.
QUALIFICATIONS
The ideal candidate will possess:
- A minimum of 3 years of consulting experience in the banking sector is strongly preferred.
- If lacking consulting experience, at least 4 years of relevant industry experience is required; 6-10 years is highly desirable.
- A Bachelor's Degree is required, with an advanced degree being advantageous.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities.
- A profound understanding of banking, including expertise in areas such as process optimization, digitization, Generative AI applications, cost benchmarking, customer service models, and operational reviews.
- Fluency in both English and German.
ADDITIONAL CONTEXT
As a Lead Knowledge Analyst, you will collaborate closely with clients and BCG leadership, including Managing Directors, Partners, and other Knowledge team members across various banking segments. During periods between client engagements, you will work with global topic leaders to enhance our service offerings and develop intellectual property. Our Knowledge Team comprises a diverse range of experts, enabling innovative and fulfilling career paths in knowledge management.
