**Boston Consulting Group's Financial Institutions Practice Area (FIPA)** aims to be the preferred consultant for leaders in the financial sector. We strive to assist clients in navigating the evolving competitive landscape by focusing on fundamental customer needs and the core economics of their businesses. Our goal is to help banks, brokerages, asset managers, and other financial service providers rethink their strategic assumptions and identify successful business opportunities, enabling them to act swiftly and effectively.

- If lacking consulting experience, at least 4 years of relevant industry experience is required; 6-10+ years of industry experience is highly preferred.
- A Bachelor's Degree is required (an advanced degree is preferred).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities.
- In-depth knowledge and expertise in banking, with exposure to areas such as process optimization, digitization, Generative AI applications, cost and efficiency benchmarking, customer service models, and operating model assessments.
- Fluency in English and German is essential.
ADDITIONAL CONTEXT
The **Knowledge Team (KT)** consists of functional and industry experts who utilize their deep domain knowledge to provide insights for case teams and clients. KT members are affiliated with BCG Practice Areas, contributing to the strategic agenda and developing leading-edge intellectual property, data tools, and assets to deliver valuable insights.
Members of BCG's Knowledge Team have the opportunity to engage in casework and co-create insights with case teams and clients, offering expert perspectives on industry trends, delivering proprietary data or tools, and conducting complex market research and analysis. KT members also support business development and proposals for their Practice Areas and assist in organizing and codifying the knowledge that enables BCG to deliver exceptional business value to its clients.
