ROLE OVERVIEW
As a **Lead Knowledge Analyst** (LKA) within the **Financial Institutions Practice Area** at BCG, you will be an integral part of a dynamic global team dedicated to delivering exceptional value to clients through specialized expertise and established knowledge assets. Your contributions will include crafting insightful analyses and driving impactful solutions tailored to client needs.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Engage in complex problem-solving for clients, utilizing relevant analytical methods and customized strategies.
  • Manage relationships with senior stakeholders and client teams, ensuring effective communication tailored to various settings.
  • Oversee internal projects, demonstrating the ability to prioritize tasks and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
  • Lead the creation of intellectual property and marketing materials, collaborating with senior BCG practitioners.
  • Provide training, coaching, and mentorship to junior team members, fostering their professional development.
  • Adapt to an evolving and intricate environment, confidently navigating ambiguity and rapid changes.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • A minimum of **3 years** of consulting experience in the banking sector is strongly preferred.
  • If lacking consulting experience, at least **4 years** of relevant industry experience is required; **6-10 years** is highly desirable.
  • A **Bachelor's Degree** is required; an advanced degree is preferred.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities.
  • In-depth knowledge of banking, including topics such as process optimization, digitization, and customer service models.
  • Fluency in **English** and **German** is essential.
COLLABORATIVE ENVIRONMENT
As a Lead Knowledge Analyst, you will collaborate closely with clients and BCG leadership, including Managing Directors and Partners, as well as fellow Knowledge team members across various banking segments. In between client engagements, you will work with global topic leaders to enhance our offerings and develop intellectual property. Our team comprises a diverse range of knowledge roles, providing opportunities for innovative and impactful knowledge careers.

The **Knowledge Team** at BCG consists of functional and industry experts who leverage their deep domain knowledge to provide insights for case teams and clients. Members of the Knowledge Team are aligned with BCG Practice Areas, contributing to strategic initiatives and developing cutting-edge data tools and assets to deliver valuable insights. Knowledge Team members have the opportunity to engage in casework, co-creating insights with clients through expert perspectives on industry trends and conducting complex market research and analysis.
