ROLE OVERVIEW
As a **Senior Knowledge Analyst** within the **Financial Institutions Practice Area** at **Boston Consulting Group**, you will engage in a dynamic global team dedicated to delivering exceptional value to clients through specialized expertise and comprehensive knowledge assets. Your contributions will be pivotal in shaping proposals and client engagements, offering original analyses and insights that drive significant impact.

In this role, you will actively participate in client cases, workshops, and proposals, which may require occasional travel to understand client needs and develop tailored solutions. You will also play a key role in supporting commercialization initiatives for your area of focus, collaborating closely with business leaders to provide strategic insights for proposals and client workshops.

As a **Lead Knowledge Analyst**, you will spearhead the development of intellectual property and resources for the business while mentoring junior colleagues based on your specialized knowledge.

  • Expertise in resolving intricate client challenges through tailored analytical methodologies and solutions.

QUALIFICATIONS
  • A minimum of 3 years of consulting experience in the banking sector is strongly preferred.
  • If lacking consulting experience, at least 4 years of relevant industry experience is required; 6-10+ years of industry experience is highly desirable.
  • A Bachelor's Degree is required; an advanced degree is preferred.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities.
  • In-depth knowledge and expertise in banking, with exposure to topics such as process optimization, digitization, Generative AI applications, cost and efficiency benchmarking, customer service models, and operating model assessments.
  • Fluency in English and German is essential.
As a **Client-Focused Lead Knowledge Analyst**, you will collaborate closely with clients and BCG leadership, including Managing Directors, Partners, and other team members across various banking segments. During periods between client engagements, you will work with global topic leaders and colleagues to leverage expertise and capabilities for both internal and external clients while contributing to the development of intellectual property. The **Knowledge Team** at BCG consists of functional and industry experts who leverage deep domain knowledge to provide insights for case teams and clients. Team members are integrated into BCG Practice Areas, aligning with strategic objectives and developing leading-edge intellectual property and data tools to deliver valuable insights.

Members of the Knowledge Team have the opportunity to be involved in client cases, co-creating insights with case teams and clients through expert perspectives on industry trends, proprietary data delivery, and complex market research and analysis. They also support business development and proposals, helping to organize and codify the knowledge that enables BCG to deliver exceptional business value to its clients.
