WHAT YOU'LL DO

As a Senior Knowledge Analyst (SKA) within BCG's Corporate, Commercial, and Investment Banking sector, you will be part of a dynamic global team, providing value to clients through industry expertise and established knowledge assets, including products, tools, data, workshops, frameworks, surveys, and domain-specific insights. Your contributions will enhance case and proposal development by delivering relevant analysis and insights, ultimately aiding case teams in creating significant impact for clients. Occasional travel may be required to engage with clients onsite, ensuring a thorough understanding of their needs and facilitating the design and development of tailored solutions.

You will also play a crucial role in supporting commercialization initiatives for your sector, collaborating with business leaders to contribute insights and analysis for proposals, client workshops, and marketing materials. Additionally, as a Senior Knowledge Analyst, you will assist in the development of intellectual property and assets for the business, engaging in marketing efforts, conferences, and publications related to the Corporate, Commercial, and Investment Banking sector, which serves leading banking institutions across various regions, focusing on Business-to-Business banking segments ranging from Middle Market to Multinational Large Corporates. The scope of products includes traditional Corporate Banking offerings such as credit and asset-based lending, transaction banking, trade finance, FX, derivatives, as well as Investment Banking and Capital Markets products like ECM, DCM, and sales and trading.

YOU'RE GOOD AT

• Possessing a solid foundation in statistics, enabling you to comprehend and apply diverse statistical methodologies.
• Skilled in data manipulation, feature engineering, and model evaluation techniques.
• Extensive knowledge of the banking industry, particularly within the Commercial, Corporate, and Investment Banking sectors.
• Effectively communicating with case/project teams and client members in a credible and confident manner.
• Collaborating and working effectively within a group dynamic, often in virtual settings, demonstrating proficiency in agile methodologies.
• Exhibiting flexibility and a curious, creative mindset, open to new ideas and capable of proposing innovative solutions.
• Navigating through complexity and ambiguity with ease.

YOU BRING (EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS)

• A minimum of 2 years of consulting experience in the banking sector is required, preferably within the Commercial, Corporate, and Investment Banking sectors; candidates with consulting backgrounds are preferred.
• Alternatively, a minimum of 3 years of industry experience with a strong emphasis on statistical analysis and data science within the banking sector is required, ideally in the Commercial, Corporate, and Investment Banking sectors; 4-6+ years of industry experience is strongly preferred.
• Proficiency in both German and English.
• Strong business acumen and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.

As a Senior Knowledge Analyst, you will collaborate with global topic leads and colleagues across BCG to leverage expertise and capabilities for the benefit of our internal and external clients. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

The Knowledge Team (KT) consists of functional and/or industry experts who utilize deep domain knowledge to provide insights for case teams and clients. KT members are affiliated with BCG Practice Areas, engaged in the strategic agenda, and responsible for building and deploying cutting-edge IP data tools/assets to deliver valuable insights.

Members of BCG's Knowledge Team are assigned to cases and assist in co-creating insights with case teams and clients through expert perspectives on industry trends, delivering proprietary data or tools in specific functions, and conducting complex research and analysis of market information. KT members also support the Practice Areas' business development and proposals and help organize and codify the knowledge that enables BCG to deliver exceptional business value for its clients.
