As a Senior Knowledge Analyst (SKA) within BCG's Corporate, Commercial, and Investment Banking sector, you will be part of a dynamic global team, providing value to clients through industry expertise and established knowledge assets (products, tools, data, workshops, frameworks, surveys, domain-specific data, and related expertise). Your contributions will enhance cases and proposals by delivering relevant analysis and insights, enabling case teams to create significant impact for clients. You will also support commercialization initiatives for the sector you are working in, collaborating with business leaders by providing analysis and insights for proposals, client workshops, and marketing materials. Furthermore, as a Senior Knowledge Analyst, you will aid in the development of intellectual property and assets for the business, participating in commercialization efforts for the Corporate, Commercial, & Investment Banking sector alongside business leaders, and contributing to marketing efforts, conferences, and publications.
The Corporate, Commercial, and Investment Banking sector serves prominent banking institutions across various regions, focusing on Business-to-Business banking segments from Middle Market to Multinational Large Corporates. The scope of products includes traditional Corporate Banking offerings such as credit and asset-based lending, transaction banking, trade finance, FX, derivatives, as well as Investment Banking and Capital Markets products like ECM, DCM, sales, and trading.
YOU'RE GOOD AT- Possessing a solid foundation in statistics, enabling you to comprehend and apply various statistical methodologies.
- Proficient in data manipulation, feature engineering, and model evaluation techniques.
- Extensive knowledge of the banking industry, particularly within the Commercial, Corporate, and Investment Banking sectors.
- Effectively communicating with case/project teams and client members in a credible and confident manner.
- Collaborating efficiently in a group dynamic, often in virtual settings, and adept in agile methodologies.
- Demonstrating flexibility and a curious, creative mindset, open to new ideas and capable of proposing innovative solutions.
- Navigating through complexity and ambiguity with ease.
- A minimum of 2 years of consulting experience in the banking sector is required (preferably in the Commercial, Corporate, and Investment Banking sector); candidates with consulting experience are preferred.
- Alternatively, at least 3 years of industry experience with a strong emphasis on statistical analysis and data science within the banking sector is required (preferably in the Commercial, Corporate, and Investment Banking sector); 4-6+ years of industry experience is strongly preferred.
- Fluency in both German and English.
- Strong business acumen and problem-solving capabilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
As a Senior Knowledge Analyst, you will collaborate with global topic leads and colleagues across BCG to leverage expertise and capabilities for the benefit of our internal and external clients. ADDITIONAL INFORMATIONThe Knowledge Team (KT) is composed of functional and/or industry experts who utilize deep domain knowledge to provide insights for case teams and clients. KT members are affiliated with BCG Practice Areas, engaged in the strategic agenda, and involved in building and deploying leading-edge IP data tools/assets to deliver insights.
BCG's Knowledge Team members are assigned to cases and assist in co-creating insights with case teams and clients through expert perspectives on industry trends, delivering proprietary data or tools in specific functions, and conducting complex research and analysis of market information. KT members also support the Practice Areas' business development and proposals and help organize and codify the knowledge that enables BCG to deliver exceptional business value for its clients.
