Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Leadership: Oversee intricate biopharma strategy initiatives, ensuring effective design, planning, and execution.
  • Client Advisory: Provide strategic counsel to clients on critical decisions regarding their portfolios, research and development, and market entry strategies.
  • Market Insight: Deliver innovative solutions informed by your understanding of the dynamic biotech landscape and emerging trends.
  • Team Development: Mentor and guide project teams, leveraging your comprehensive consulting skills to foster growth and excellence.

Prescient's Strategic Advisory Practice is dedicated to assisting biopharmaceutical clients in formulating clinical, medical, and commercial strategies that lead to the successful development and marketing of unique assets that positively impact patient outcomes. Role Overview:

As a Client Engagement Director, your responsibilities will encompass:

  • 60% project management
  • 20% business development
  • 20% team and practice enhancement

You will be integral to a rapidly growing organization that empowers high-achieving individuals to make significant contributions and participate in leadership initiatives. This role offers the opportunity to apply your advanced qualifications in strategizing the development and commercialization of portfolios, assets, and brands by merging therapeutic, clinical, and commercial insights to enable clients to make informed decisions.

Personal Attributes:

  • Project Management: Ensure comprehensive oversight of client engagements, including design, planning, management of client relationships, data collection, analysis, and reporting.
  • Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities within existing accounts while seeking new client relationships.
  • Client Relations: Collaborate with project and account teams to guarantee exceptional client service experiences.
  • Subject Matter Expertise: Serve as a trusted expert to clients and mentor junior team members.
  • Thought Leadership: Work with the marketing team to create and disseminate impactful thought leadership content that enhances Prescient's brand and business development efforts.
  • Team Mentorship: Support the development of Advisory team members by recognizing their strengths and areas for growth, ensuring a focus on delivering valuable insights to clients.

Qualifications:

  • Advanced degree in life sciences (PhD, MD, MS/MBA combination, MBA, or equivalent).
  • Over 5 years of professional experience in a life sciences organization, with a minimum of 3 years in management consulting.
  • Exceptional skills in conceptual framing and solution development.
  • Proven business development capabilities to nurture and expand client relationships.
  • Extensive experience in leading and developing project teams.
  • Strong communication skills to engage with clients at a peer level and provide expert insights.
