Hydrogen Product and Business Development Specialist

As a key member of our product and business development division focused on hydrogen and eco-friendly ammonia, you will play a vital role in advancing the energy transition and steering our organization towards sustainable solutions. Your primary responsibility will be to innovate products tailored to our clientele while serving as a crucial link between sales teams and the sourcing of green raw materials.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate in crafting innovative sales strategies for green hydrogen derived from advanced H2 initiatives.
  • Identify and cultivate new business prospects within the hydrogen energy sector, including potential clients and strategic alliances.
  • Facilitate and engage in the formulation of H2 business agreements and letters of intent.
  • Assist in the enhancement of new product features based on market insights, in collaboration with the team.
  • Analyze and refine business cases for hydrogen, incorporating feedback from various departments (technical, market, legal, regulatory, etc.).
  • Provide consultancy to prospective clients and gather feedback on our offerings.
  • Conduct training sessions and presentations on our products for both internal and external audiences.

Candidate Profile

  • A degree in business administration, economics, engineering, or a related field.
  • Extensive professional experience in product development, sales strategy formulation, and/or business growth.
  • Proficiency in conceptualizing new business ideas, along with expertise in negotiating and drafting client contracts.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of engaging effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • An entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to merge diverse customer needs and market trends into new, value-generating business opportunities.
  • Ideally, a strong background and a wide network in industries such as steel, refining, chemicals, ceramics, or substantial sales experience (e.g., natural gas, technical sales).
  • Proficiency in both German and English; knowledge of additional languages is a plus.
