Product Development Manager

**About the Role**

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our product and business development team for hydrogen and climate-friendly ammonia. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in supporting the energy transition and the transformation of our company towards climate-friendly solutions.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Develop innovative sales strategies for green hydrogen from advanced H2 projects, working closely with our sales managers and procurement teams.
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities in the hydrogen energy market, including potential customers and strategic partners.
  • Coordinate and participate in the creation of H2 business contracts and letters of intent, ensuring seamless collaboration with various teams.
  • Support the development of new product features based on market feedback, working together with our product development team.
  • Question and optimize business cases for hydrogen, incorporating input from technical, market-related, legal, approval-related, regulatory, and other teams.
  • Advise potential customers and obtain feedback on our solutions, ensuring excellent customer service.
  • Conduct training and presentations on our products, both internally and externally, to promote our offerings and build strong relationships with customers.

**Requirements**

  • Degree in business administration, economics, engineering, or industrial engineering, or comparable training.
  • Several years of professional experience in product development, sales strategies, and/or business development.
  • Experience in conceptual development of new business ideas, as well as knowledge of negotiating and drafting customer contracts.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with both internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
  • Entrepreneurial personality, with the ability to combine different customer needs and market developments into new, value-adding business opportunities.
  • At best, strong expertise and an extensive network in one or more of the following industries: steel, refineries, chemicals, glass/ceramics, or strong sales experience (e.g., natural gas, technical sales).
  • Fluency in German and English, with other foreign languages an advantage.
