Business Development Representative

Akeneo, the Product Experience Company, is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Business Development Representative to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for identifying and qualifying sales opportunities, building relationships with decision-makers, and driving business growth through new acquisition opportunities.
Responsibilities- Prospecting and Qualification: Conduct effective discovery and qualification conversations with Enterprise prospects to understand their product information management needs and identify potential sales opportunities.
- Relationship Building: Develop and maintain strong relationships with decision-makers within targeted accounts to build trust and establish Akeneo as a trusted partner.
- Lead Generation: Qualify leads from marketing campaigns as potential sales opportunities and work collaboratively with sales and marketing to execute a lead generation strategy.
- Customer Insights: Use your frontline knowledge of customers' needs to educate the broader team on learnings and business opportunities.
- Minimum one-year experience as a Business Development Representative or Sales Development Representative.
- Fluent in German and English.
- Experience with sales tools such as Gong, Salesloft, or Salesforce CRM.
- Problem-solving skills and ability to find creative solutions.
- Autonomous, curious, and proactive with a strong interest in sales.
- Strong communication skills and ability to gather details about prospects.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
