The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Development Manager to drive the success and growth of our Load Bank product in Germany. The successful candidate will be the face of our business in the German market, responsible for managing day-to-day sales and operations, developing and growing business relationships with existing and potential customers, and collaborating with our admin, service, engineering, production, and marketing teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage day-to-day sales and operations of the Load Bank product in Germany.
  • Develop and grow business relationships with existing and potential customers.
  • Collaborate with admin, service, engineering, production, and marketing teams.
  • Contribute to country-specific strategic objectives and sales plans.
  • Implement marketing and promotional strategies to raise brand awareness and develop sales materials.
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of market trends and sales channels.
  • Develop and implement pricing policies specific to the German market.
  • Uphold company standards for business ethics and quality management.
  • Provide regular sales performance reports and forecasts.
Requirements
  • A degree in engineering or a business-related discipline with an electrical focus is preferred.
  • Proven experience in Business Development or Sales within an engineering, manufacturing, or technical environment, with over 2 years in the field.
  • Strong sales and business development skills, particularly in managing distributors for high-quality industrial products.
  • Self-motivated and capable of working independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong written, presentation & communication skills for reports, promotions, and policy documents.

  • Native German Speaker with fluency in English.
  • Fact-based, data-driven, and results-oriented, yet creative.
  • Perceptive and willing to continuously improve.
  • Flexible, enthusiastic, energetic, and positive with a good sense of fun.
  • Valid driving license for regular travel.
  • Experience in market and sales channel development.
  • Successful track record with similar products and customer bases.
  • Willingness to travel within Germany 30-50% of the time.
