Sales and Investor Relations Manager

Role Overview:

  • Enhance and grow third-party Assets under Management (AuM) in Germany while establishing connections with new clients, including pension funds, insurers, banks, endowments, and family offices.
  • Stay informed on market trends and competitor offerings.
  • Prioritize product pipeline to align with client requirements and upcoming fund launches.
  • Conduct client mapping and prioritize target clients effectively.
  • Collaborate with other sales teams to maximize opportunities for cross-selling.
  • Ensure exceptional after-sales support and service for investors.
  • Provide ongoing feedback to management and the product development team.
  • Maintain client relationships in CRM systems along with a pipeline of new business prospects.
  • Engage with portfolio management, structuring, product development, tax, and legal teams.
  • Adhere to regulatory and compliance processes.
  • Market strategies encompass both pooled funds and customized dedicated mandates.

Candidate Profile:

  • Master's degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field.
  • Experience in the financial services sector and asset management.
  • Proven success in raising assets for an Alternative Investment firm.
  • Strong understanding of financial markets and compliance issues.
  • Familiarity with CRM software that supports the sales process.
  • Participation in asset management working groups is advantageous.
  • Established network with institutional investors.
  • Capability to structure sales processes and identify business opportunities.
  • Deep understanding of private assets.
  • Interest in anticipating future trends in the investment management sector.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Able to thrive in a dynamic, start-up environment.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication abilities.
