As a prospective Manager of Sales and Investor Relations, you will report to the Senior Sales and Business Developer for Northern Europe at AXA IM Prime (London), and you will be part of the AXA IM PRIME Business Unit.

AXA IM Prime serves as the comprehensive private assets platform of AXA IM, providing investment opportunities across private equity, infrastructure equity, private debt, and hedge funds. We deliver a variety of private market returns through primaries, secondaries, co-investments, alongside NAV financing and GP minority stakes solutions. By collaborating with top-tier fund managers, we customize investment solutions for institutional investors and wealth managers that promote sustainable long-term growth.

The Sales and Investor Relations Manager will collaborate with the AXA IM Prime Head of Sales for the region to establish asset raising objectives for all AXA IM Prime business lines (Infrastructure Equity, Private Equity, Private Debt, and Hedge Funds), executing the sales strategy for AXA IM Prime in Germany & Austria to ensure that asset raising goals are consistently achieved.

Your responsibilities will encompass:

Sales and Business Development:

Cultivate and enhance third-party Assets under Management (AuM) in Germany and engage with new accounts (pension funds, insurers, banks, endowments, family offices), distributors (banks and insurance networks, savings platforms), private wealth managers, and consultants. Stay informed on market trends and competitor offerings to proactively enhance AXA IM Prime's unique selling propositions and sales narratives, as well as customized solutions and new product development. Prioritize the product pipeline to align with client requirements and the AXA IM Prime fund launch schedule, ultimately ensuring sales success in the region. Conduct client mapping and prioritize target clients to meet defined objectives for raising third-party capital. Collaborate effectively with other sales teams within AXA IM (AXA IM Core, AXA IM Alts) to maximize cross-selling opportunities. Ensure high-quality after-sales support and service is provided to investors (reporting, monitoring, ad-hoc requests). Provide ongoing feedback to management and the product team to enable AXA IM Prime to adapt its offerings to meet evolving investor demands. Continuously build and maintain client relationships in CRM, along with an updated pipeline of new business opportunities. Work alongside portfolio management, structuring, product development, tax, and legal teams to ensure the marketing of AXA IM Prime products complies with local regulations. Adhere to AXA IM processes from a regulatory and compliance standpoint. Strategies marketed in the region will include both commingled funds and bespoke dedicated mandates. Your Profile

Master's degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field. Initial experience in the financial sector or asset management industry at comparable institutions. Proven track record of raising assets for an Alternative Investment firm in Private assets (experience with dedicated mandates and solutions is advantageous). Strong understanding of financial markets (both public and private) and compliance issues. Familiarity with CRM software that supports a structured and efficient sales process (e.g., Salesforce). Demonstrated commitment and deep knowledge of ESG policies and industry best practices. Participation in asset management working groups or investor associations is a plus. Established network with institutional investors in Germany within the private assets sector. Ability to structure sales processes, identify business opportunities, initiate contact with new investors, and maintain a high level of client service to grow AXA IM Prime's business in Germany and Austria. Capacity to balance significant long-term objectives with the necessity to meet annual sales targets. Strong understanding of private assets, with particular insight into client needs and the advantages of Private Market investing. Insight and interest in anticipating future trends in the alternative investment management industry. Open-mindedness towards innovation and the use of tools that enhance sales and client servicing. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with potential to manage a small team as the platform evolves. Ability to thrive in a start-up environment within a larger organization.
