About the Role

The AXA Group is a leading global company in the insurance and asset management sectors. As a Sales and Investor Relations Manager for Germany, you will play a crucial role in asset raising and business development for AXA IM Prime.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and expand third-party assets in Germany, targeting pension funds, insurers, banks, endowments, family offices, distributors, private wealth managers, and consultants.
  • Monitor market developments and competitor offerings to enhance AXA IM Prime's unique selling points and sales pitch, and develop customized solutions and new products.
  • Prioritize product pipelines to meet client needs and AXA IM Prime's fund launch pipeline, ensuring sales success in the region.
  • Provide client mapping and target client prioritization to meet defined targets of raising third-party capital.
  • Collaborate with other sales teams at AXA IM to maximize cross-selling opportunities.
  • Ensure high standards of after-sales support and servicing for investors, including reporting, monitoring, and ad-hoc requests.
  • Deliver feedback to management and product teams to ensure AXA IM Prime's products evolve to meet changing investor demands.
  • Build and maintain client contacts in CRM, with an up-to-date pipeline of new business opportunities.
  • Work with portfolio management, structuring, product development, tax, and legal teams to ensure marketing of AXA IM Prime products in accordance with local regulations.
  • Follow AXA IM processes from a regulatory and compliance perspective.
About You

We welcome candidates with diverse skills and experiences. To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A Master's degree in Finance, Economics, or a similar field.
  • First experience in the financial sector or asset management industry at similar institutions.
  • A track record of raising assets for an alternative investment firm in private assets, with experience in dedicated mandates and solutions a plus.
  • A good understanding of financial markets (public and private) and compliance matters.
  • Experience with CRM software supporting a structured and efficient sales process.
  • Proven engagement and deep knowledge of ESG policies and industry best practices.
  • Engagement in asset management working groups or investor associations a plus.
  • A network with institutional investors in Germany in the private assets space.
  • The ability to structure sales processes, identify business opportunities, initiate contact with new investors, and maintain ongoing high-level client service to grow AXA IM Prime's business in Germany and Austria.
  • The ability to balance long-term goals with the requirement to meet annual sales targets.
  • A strong understanding of private assets, with special knowledge of client needs and the benefits of private market investing.
  • Insights and interest in anticipating future developments in the alternative investment management industry.
  • An open-minded approach to innovation and the use of tools supporting sales and client servicing.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills, with potential to manage a small team as the platform develops.
  • The ability to thrive in a start-up business within a larger organization.
  • Excellent verbal and written German and English language skills.
  • A willingness to work as part of a team and share success as a team effort.
