About the Opportunity

We're looking for a motivated Business Development Intern to support our portfolio company's go-to-market strategies in France. In this role, you'll contribute to various projects and ensure the optimisation of our portfolio company's business-critical services.

The company has redefined the way large construction material orders are sourced, distributed, and financed through their innovative platform. They provide access to high-quality construction materials at a global scale, unlocking the potential of cross-border supply for the Western Market.

The company's competitive advantage lies in its ability to organise the supply chain through digital innovation. By eliminating middlemen and embracing tech-first and AI, they create a seamless connection between suppliers and buyers. Their platform technology facilitates supply and demand matching, offering a comprehensive suite of services, including cloud inventory management, fulfilment solutions, and fintech capabilities.

Your Responsibilities
  • Analyse market trends and implement Go-To-Market strategies to unlock profitable opportunities
  • Prospect and assist in identifying and reaching out to potential clients or partners through various channels
  • Analyse current operational processes and propose improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness
  • Maintain and organise operational documentation, including standard operating procedures (SOPs) and compliance records
  • Communicate with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely deliveries and resolve any issues
Your Profile
  • Currently enrolled in the University or a fresh graduate seeking work experience
  • Motivated and passionate about new ideas, with a creative mindset
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills, with the ability to communicate with clients and partners
  • Excellent communication skills in French and English

Please note that this role is located in the Berlin office of our portfolio company. Eligibility to work within the EU is required.
