Enterprise Sales Professional

Databricks is at the forefront of the Data Analytics space, aiming to help companies tackle the world's most complex challenges.
We're seeking an Enterprise Sales Professional to represent Databricks to prospective customers in Central Europe. This role is ideal for a sales professional early in their career, looking to contribute to the growth of a pioneering enterprise software company and develop their sales skills. Reporting to the SDR manager for Central Europe, you will be part of a dynamic team of like-minded individuals and have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a rapidly evolving regional team. This role will be based in our Munich office.
The impact you will have:
- Develop a strong understanding of value-based selling, big data, and AI
- Provide exceptional customer experiences for Databricks' prospective customers
- Conduct thorough research on accounts and prospects to inform and develop targeted outreach campaigns, increasing engagement across a diverse range of accounts
- Maintain active communication with prospects through tailored follow-up, including personalized emails, cold calls, and social selling
- Collaborate with the wider sales team to develop territory strategies, build a pipeline, and drive adoption
- Identify client needs and progress conversations into sales opportunities by effectively communicating how Databricks can meet their needs

- Prior sales experience is preferred but not necessary
- A strong determination to succeed, learn, and contribute to the growth of a leading enterprise software company
- A history of consistent, measurable over-achievement in past experiences
- Excellent active listening and questioning skills in phone-based and in-person scenarios
- A genuine interest in big data and AI
- A positive attitude towards teamwork and company culture (Own It, Teamwork Makes the Dreamwork, Let The Data Decide, Be Customer and Partner Obsessed)
- Fluency in English and German is required
