Sales Director

Next in Careers is seeking an experienced Sales Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing sales activities, developing relationships with key customers, and driving growth for our industrial product lines.
Key Responsibilities:- Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain relationships with new and existing customers in your region, ensuring long-term collaboration and mutual success.
- Lead Generation: Proactively identify and pursue new sales opportunities across all product lines, leveraging your technical sales background and industry expertise.
- Sales Calls: Regularly follow up on leads and initiate contact with potential customers to expand our client base and increase sales revenue.
- Market Strategy Development: Develop market strategies and set sales goals for each product and service offered, staying up-to-date on industry trends and technological advances.
- Sales Reporting: Generate detailed reports on sales performance and market trends to inform decision-making and drive business growth.
- Customer Needs Analysis: Understand customer needs and collaborate with internal teams to deliver customized product solutions that meet their requirements.
- Industry Trends & Technical Knowledge: Stay updated on industry developments and technological advances affecting our product lines, ensuring you are equipped to provide expert advice and guidance to customers.
- Presentations & Workshops: Prepare and present technical sales presentations to customers, and lead workshops where needed to educate and engage your audience.
- Contract Negotiation: Lead the negotiation process to secure contracts and close deals, leveraging your sales expertise and industry knowledge to achieve successful outcomes.
- Education: Bachelor's degree (minimum requirement), preferably in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Experience: At least 5 years of sales experience in an industrial environment, with expertise in machine tools, modular tools, cutter grinders, or tool grinding equipment.
- Languages: German: Native or bilingual proficiency (required)
- English: Fluent proficiency (required)
- French: Professional proficiency (preferred but not essential)
- Travel Requirements: Willingness to travel approximately 50% of the time to visit customers and foster relationships. Occasional travel to Switzerland for product training may also be required.
- Work Location: Candidates must be based in Germany or Austria.
- Training: The successful candidate will participate in product training sessions at our facilities in Germany.
