Global Compensation and Benefits Manager

Position Overview: As the Senior Manager of Total Rewards, you will play a pivotal role within our Group HR Function. Your primary responsibility will be to assist in the formulation and implementation of the compensation and benefits strategy at Bauer Media Group, collaborating closely with colleagues across various Bauer locations, including but not limited to Germany, the UK, and Poland.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and enhance the global compensation strategy.
  • Ensure appropriate compensation and benefits frameworks are established for diverse countries.
  • Develop competitive, benchmark-driven compensation structures, bonus programs, and employee benefits plans.
  • Oversee the global annual remuneration process, including bonuses and base salary adjustments.
  • Refine compensation processes and tools while identifying opportunities for digitalization.
  • Conduct benchmark analyses, identify market trends, and provide actionable recommendations.
  • Collaborate with Corporate Finance to assess, analyze, and evaluate the personnel cost budget and salary increase allocations.
  • Build, lead, and manage a team of three Total Rewards Managers.

Qualifications:

  • A completed business degree with a minimum of seven years of professional experience in compensation and benefits within an international matrix organization.
  • Proficient in the conceptual development and optimization of international compensation systems in a similarly sized organization.
  • Proven track record of successfully implementing international projects and possessing strong stakeholder management skills.
  • Fluency in both German and English, with professional proficiency in speaking and writing.
  • Advanced skills in Excel and PowerPoint, along with solid experience in SAP/SuccessFactors.
  • High level of discretion and ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
  • Analytical, process-driven, and data-oriented approach with strategic and critical thinking capabilities.
