Position Overview: As the Senior Manager of Total Rewards, you will play a pivotal role within our Group HR Function. Your primary responsibility will be to guide the formulation and execution of the compensation and benefits framework at Bauer Media Group, collaborating with colleagues across various Bauer locations including Germany, the UK, and Poland.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and enhance the global compensation strategy.
  • Ensure the establishment of appropriate compensation and benefits structures tailored to different countries.
  • Develop competitive compensation frameworks, bonus programs, and employee benefits plans based on market benchmarks.
  • Oversee the global annual remuneration process, including bonuses and base salary adjustments.
  • Advance compensation processes and tools while identifying opportunities for digital transformation.
  • Conduct benchmark analyses to identify market trends and provide actionable recommendations.
  • Collaborate with Corporate Finance to assess, analyze, and evaluate the personnel cost budget and salary increase allocations.
  • Build, lead, and manage a team of three Total Rewards Managers.

Qualifications:

  • A completed business degree with a minimum of seven years of professional experience in compensation and benefits within an international matrix organization.
  • Experience in conceptualizing and optimizing international compensation systems in a similarly sized organization.
  • Proven track record of successfully implementing international projects and possessing strong stakeholder management skills.
  • Fluency in both German and English, with professional proficiency in speaking and writing.
  • Strong skills in Excel and PowerPoint, along with solid experience in SAP/SuccessFactors.
  • High level of discretion and ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
  • Analytical mindset with a process-driven and data-oriented approach, demonstrating strategic and critical thinking.
