Position Overview: As the Lead Manager for Global Compensation (f/m/d), you will play a pivotal role within our Group HR Function. Your expertise will be essential in shaping and implementing the compensation and benefits framework across Bauer Media Group, collaborating with teams from various countries including Germany, the UK, and Poland among others.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and enhance the global compensation strategy to align with organizational goals.
  • Ensure appropriate compensation and benefits structures tailored to different countries.
  • Develop competitive compensation frameworks, bonus programs, and employee benefits initiatives.
  • Oversee the annual global remuneration process, including bonuses and base salary adjustments.
  • Refine compensation processes and tools, while identifying opportunities for digital transformation.
  • Conduct market benchmark analyses, identify trends, and provide actionable recommendations.
  • Collaborate with Corporate Finance to assess and evaluate personnel cost budgets and salary increase plans.
  • Build, lead, and manage a team of three Total Rewards Managers.

Qualifications:

  • A completed business degree with a minimum of seven years of experience in compensation and benefits within an international matrix organization.
  • Proficient in developing and optimizing international compensation systems in a similarly sized organization.
  • Proven track record of successfully executing international projects with strong stakeholder management capabilities.
  • Fluency in both German and English, with professional proficiency in written and spoken communication.
  • Advanced skills in Excel and PowerPoint, along with substantial experience using SAP/SuccessFactors.
  • High level of discretion and confidentiality is mandatory.
  • Analytical and strategic mindset with a process-driven and data-oriented approach.
