Head of Learning and Talent Development (m/f/d)

As the Head of Learning and Talent Development, you will be instrumental in defining our strategies for Learning, Talent Development, and Performance Management. Your role will involve crafting and executing educational experiences that enhance skills, foster engagement, and elevate performance, ensuring the growth of our workforce across the organization. This position presents a remarkable opportunity to significantly influence our success through a culture of continuous learning.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the Learning and Talent Development Team by establishing a clear vision, strategy, and objectives to cultivate a high-performing team. Ensure effective collaboration within and across the People & Culture function while strategically managing budget and resources. Formulate and execute learning and development strategies that align with the overarching business objectives of our learning organization, directly impacting the adaptability and resilience of our workforce through capable leaders and experts. Create and deliver a variety of educational experiences, including training sessions, mentoring programs, and coaching initiatives, to enhance employee capabilities. Oversee the performance management framework, including individual goal setting, performance assessments, feedback, and coaching, to promote accountability and excellence in performance. Implement talent management strategies, including talent reviews, succession planning, and career development initiatives, to identify and nurture our talent pool. Champion initiatives that promote a culture of ongoing learning and development, agility, innovation, inclusivity, and high performance. Assess the effectiveness of learning, talent, and performance management programs through metrics and feedback mechanisms, providing recommendations for enhancements. Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in your area of expertise.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development, Psychology, or a related discipline. 8+ years of experience in learning and development, talent management, organizational development, consulting, or performance management roles. Strong understanding of best practices, theories, and methodologies in learning, talent, and leadership development. Analytical mindset with the capability to evaluate data and metrics to assess the effectiveness of initiatives. Proven success in designing and implementing a learning organization that serves as a vehicle for executing strategy and fostering workforce growth. Exceptional communication, presentation, instructional design, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across all organizational levels. Strong business acumen and a deep understanding of the goals and needs of a highly dynamic product and technology company. Proficiency in both German and English.
