Central Europe Retail Media Sales Lead

Key Responsibilities:

Criteo is on the lookout for a driven and seasoned professional to take on the role of Retail Media Sales Manager for Central Europe, reporting directly to the Head of Sales. In this position, you will be tasked with expanding and securing media investments from brands and agencies for Criteo's offerings. This includes partnerships with major advertising agencies, independent retail media firms, and brand advertisers within our Enterprise division.

Your role will involve effectively managing all aspects of the sales cycle, from identifying prospects to understanding media purchasing patterns, navigating the hierarchy of client and agency stakeholders, and ultimately closing deals.

Responsibilities include:

  • Collaborating closely with client contacts within your designated book of business to secure new opportunities and enhance the utilization of Criteo's solutions, encompassing both Retail Media and Marketing Solutions (Retargeting, Acquisition & Retention).
  • Actively prospecting and presenting to client contacts to drive revenue growth within your portfolio.
  • Overseeing client relationships from initial engagement through to post-sale, with a focus on establishing long-term partnerships that lead to sustainable, repeat business.
  • Gaining a comprehensive understanding of Criteo's suite of solutions, articulating key performance indicators for campaigns, and leveraging this knowledge to generate new business.
  • Establishing yourself as a trusted advisor for your clients, building and maintaining a robust network within your book of business.
  • Meeting revenue growth targets aligned with Criteo's quarterly objectives.

Qualifications:

  • In-depth knowledge of the DACH/Central European brand and media agency landscape, as well as the broader digital advertising ecosystem.
  • Experience in Retail Media or audience-targeted display campaigns in the open web (e.g., retargeting, acquisition, retention).
  • Strong connections within the Big 6 agency groups and/or with brand advertisers and retail media agencies, along with a solid presence in the online industry.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence, persuade, and negotiate in complex scenarios.
  • Proven track record of delivering strong results in a fast-paced, dynamic team environment.
  • Excellent team player, collaborating both internally and externally to identify, present, and secure opportunities with new agency clients.
  • Exceptional communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Commitment to operating with integrity in all situations.
  • Fluency in German and English is essential.
