Criteo is on the lookout for a driven and seasoned individual to take on the role of Retail Media Sales Manager for Central Europe, reporting directly to the Head of Sales. In this position, you will be tasked with expanding and securing media purchases from brands and agencies for Criteo's offerings, which encompass partnerships with major advertising agencies, independent retail media firms, and brand advertisers within our Enterprise division.
Your role will involve:
- Collaborating closely with client contacts within your designated book of business to secure new opportunities and enhance the utilization of Criteo's solutions, including both Retail Media and Marketing Solutions (Retargeting, Acquisition & Retention).
- Proactively seeking and engaging client contacts to boost revenue within your portfolio.
- Overseeing client relationships from initial engagement through to post-sales, with a focus on establishing long-term partnerships that foster sustainable, repeat business.
- Gaining a comprehensive understanding of Criteo's suite of solutions, articulating key performance indicators for campaigns, and leveraging this knowledge to drive new business within your client base.
- Establishing yourself as a trusted advisor for your clients, nurturing and maintaining a robust network within your book of business.
- Achieving revenue growth targets aligned with Criteo's quarterly objectives.
Qualifications:
- In-depth knowledge of the DACH / Central European brand and media agency landscape, as well as the broader digital advertising ecosystem.
- Experience in Retail Media or audience-focused display campaigns in the open web (e.g., retargeting, acquisition, retention).
- Strong connections within the Big 6 agency groups and/or with brand advertisers and retail media agencies, as well as the wider online industry.
- Demonstrated ability to influence, persuade, and negotiate in complex scenarios.
- Capacity to perform and deliver exceptional results in a fast-paced, dynamic team environment.
- Collaborative team player, working both internally and externally to identify, present, and close opportunities with new agency clients.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to maintain high integrity in all situations.
- Proficiency in both German and English for business communications.
