About the Role:

Nexperia is seeking an experienced Sales Director to lead our Central European team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth, developing and executing global business strategies, and building strong relationships with customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of direct reports, including employee development and hiring of new employees.
  • Manage team performance according to aligned Sales Strategy & Plan, tracking key performance indicators and agreed goals.
  • Engage with management stakeholders to identify, cultivate, and convert new business opportunity pipelines.
  • Consolidate identification of A-gaps, B-Gaps, and alignment with Nexperia organization.
  • Achieve revenue targets, monitoring and initiating close-the-gap actions.
  • Drive demand creation in CE region, run the own sub-region as Regional Sales Manager.
  • Develop and execute global business strategies, identifying opportunities for Nexperia.
  • Tailor Nexperia Value Propositions for customers to become #1 choice.
  • Understand customer hierarchy, identify decision makers, and establish relationship strategies.
  • Represent customer needs internally and ensure adequate priorities are set.
  • Gather and communicate market/competitor information.
  • Consolidate customer business plans, communicating expectations and requirements.
  • Key stakeholders: daily interaction with technical and commercial community, preparation and execution of regular technical workshops.

About You:

We are looking for a candidate with a university degree in electrical engineering or business studies, solid technical affinity, and minimum 10 years of sales experience in the semiconductor or automotive industry. Leadership experience, expertise to manage a cross-functional and multicultural team, and solid experience in managing commodity business are essential. Entrepreneurial thinking, result-oriented, customer-focused, and strong communication and negotiation skills in German and English are required. Team player with hands-on mentality and willingness to travel frequently are also necessary.
