Compensation and Benefits Director

Position Overview: As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in shaping and implementing the compensation and benefits framework at Bauer Media Group. Collaborating with colleagues across various Bauer locations, you will ensure that our strategies align with the diverse needs of our international workforce.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and enhance the global compensation strategy to meet organizational goals.
  • Ensure compliance with compensation and benefits structures tailored to different countries.
  • Develop competitive compensation frameworks, including bonus schemes and employee benefits plans.
  • Oversee the annual remuneration process, focusing on both bonuses and base salaries.

Qualifications:

  • A completed business degree with a minimum of seven years of experience in compensation and benefits within an international matrix organization.
  • Proficient in the conceptualization and refinement of international compensation systems in a comparable corporate environment.
  • Proven track record of successfully executing international projects with strong stakeholder management capabilities.
  • Fluency in both German and English, with professional proficiency in speaking and writing.
  • Advanced skills in Excel and PowerPoint, along with substantial experience using SAP/SuccessFactors.
  • High level of discretion and ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Analytical mindset with a process-driven and data-oriented approach, demonstrating strategic and critical thinking.
