Role Overview
As a Presales Solution Architect, you will play a pivotal role in fostering technical collaborations with our Global Systems Integrators. Your responsibilities will include customizing solutions to align with client requirements, thereby maximizing our offerings in Solutions and Services. You will lead growth initiatives, initiate essential technical discussions, and connect clients with our experts for complex projects, ensuring our sustained success.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead solution ideation and design activities.
- Collaborate with practice teams to articulate the vision and expectations for comprehensive solutions.
- Analyze business contexts and challenges to establish the vision and requirements for solutions, recommending optimal options.
- Work in partnership with the GSI team to demonstrate how solutions meet client objectives.
- Integrate Lenovo and partner solutions, tools, and intellectual properties into the design.
- Detail appropriate solutions, including upgrades, replacements, and integrations, focusing on productivity, usability, and total cost of ownership.
- Engage with senior client executives to shape transformational deals.
- Communicate pricing adjustments and adapt solutions to fit budgetary constraints while aligning with client outcomes.
Preferred Qualifications
- Deep understanding of solution approaches, with the ability to choose the right strategy based on viability, profitability, and deliverability.
- Proven consensus-building skills with internal and external stakeholders.
- Exceptional communication and customer management abilities.
- Experience in delivering architectural initiatives in digital, cloud, and open-source technologies, with a strong IT infrastructure background.
- Capability to estimate efforts and resources effectively while driving optimization.
- Experience working with CXO teams on enterprise-wide initiatives.
- Proficient in assessing customer portfolios and creating strategic roadmaps.
- Adept at collaborating with cross-functional teams and guiding sales teams in navigating customer ecosystems.
- Experience in defining IT strategies and roadmaps for clients.
- Ability to mentor teams and Solutions Architects.
Desired Skills
- 10-15 years of experience with robust technical and domain expertise.
- Background in consulting or GSI delivery is preferred.
