Role Overview
As a Presales Solution Architect, you will play a pivotal role in fostering technical collaborations with our Global Systems Integrators. Your primary responsibility will be to customize solutions that align with client requirements, thereby enhancing our Solutions and Services portfolio. You will lead growth initiatives, initiate essential technical discussions, and connect clients with our experts for complex projects, ensuring the success of our endeavors.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the ideation and design of solutions.
- Collaborate with practice teams to communicate the vision and expectations for comprehensive solutions.
- Analyze business contexts and challenges to establish the vision and requirements for the solution, recommending optimal options.
- Co-create solutions with the GSI team, demonstrating how they fulfill the end client's objectives.
- Integrate Lenovo and partner solutions, tools, and intellectual properties into the design.
- Outline suitable solutions, upgrades, integrations, or decommissioning strategies, considering productivity, usability, and total cost of ownership.
- Engage with senior client executives to shape transformational deals, working alongside account and business development teams.
- Effectively communicate any pricing adjustments and adapt solutions to meet budgetary constraints while aligning with client goals.
Preferred Qualifications
- Deep understanding of solution approaches, with the ability to select the best strategy based on viability, profitability, and deliverability.
- Proven ability to build consensus among internal and external stakeholders and defend proposed solutions.
- Exceptional communication, relationship management, and customer engagement skills.
- Experience in delivering architectural initiatives in digital, cloud, and open-source technologies, with a solid grasp of IT infrastructure.
- Competence in resource estimation and optimization.
- Ability to collaborate with CXO teams on enterprise-wide initiatives in an advisory capacity.
- Experience in assessing clients' IT and business priorities to develop strategic roadmaps.
- Skilled in working within cross-functional teams and guiding sales teams to navigate the customer ecosystem.
- Experience in defining IT strategies and roadmaps for clients.
- Mentorship experience with teams or solution architects.
Desired Skills
- 10-15 years of relevant experience with strong technical and domain expertise.
- Background in consulting or GSI delivery is preferred.
