Role Overview
As a Presales Solution Architect, you will play a pivotal role in fostering technical collaborations with our Global Systems Integrators. Your primary responsibility will be to customize solutions that align with customer requirements, thereby enhancing our Solutions and Services portfolio. You will lead growth initiatives, initiate critical technical discussions, and connect clients with our experts for complex projects, ensuring our ongoing success.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the ideation and design of solutions.
- Collaborate with practice teams to align on vision and expectations for comprehensive solutions.
- Analyze business contexts and challenges to define solution vision and requirements, recommending optimal options for RFI/RFP and proactive pursuits.
- Partner with the GSI team to co-create solutions that meet client objectives.
- Integrate Lenovo and partner solutions, tools, and intellectual properties into the design.
- Detail solutions, upgrades, integrations, or decommissioning options, considering productivity, usability, and total cost of ownership.
- Engage with senior client executives to shape transformational deals.
- Communicate pricing adjustments and modify solutions to align with budgetary constraints and client outcomes.
Preferred Qualifications
- Deep understanding of solution approaches and the ability to choose the right strategy based on factors like Winnability, Profitability, and Deliverability.
- Strong consensus-building skills with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Exceptional communication and customer management abilities.
- Experience in delivering architectural initiatives in digital, cloud, and open-source technologies, with a solid grasp of IT infrastructure.
- Proficient in effort and resource estimation, alignment, and optimization.
- Able to collaborate with CXO teams on enterprise-wide initiatives.
- Experience in assessing end customers' portfolios and creating strategic roadmaps.
- Ability to work cross-functionally and closely with sales teams to navigate customer ecosystems.
- Expertise in defining IT strategies and roadmaps for clients.
- Experience in coaching teams and solution architects.
Desired Skills
- 10-15 years of experience with robust technical and domain knowledge.
- Background in consulting or GSI delivery is preferred.
