Role Overview
As a Presales Solution Architect, you will play a pivotal role in fostering technical collaborations with our Global Systems Integrators. Your primary responsibility will be to customize solutions that align with customer requirements, thereby maximizing our Solutions and Services potential. You will lead growth initiatives, initiate critical technical discussions, and connect clients with our experts for complex projects, ensuring our ongoing success.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee solution ideation and design processes.
- Collaborate with practice teams to communicate the vision and expectations for comprehensive solutions.
- Analyze business contexts and challenges to establish the vision and requirements for the solution, recommending optimal options.
- Co-create solutions with the GSI team, demonstrating how they meet the end client's objectives.
- Integrate Lenovo and partner solutions, ensuring the design incorporates the best available assets and tools.
- Detail solutions, including upgrades and integrations, while considering productivity, usability, and total cost of ownership.
- Engage with senior client executives to shape transformational deals.
- Adapt pricing strategies and modify solutions to align with budgetary constraints and customer outcomes.
Preferred Qualifications
- Expertise in solution approaches, understanding when to apply different strategies based on factors like Winnability, Profitability, and Deliverability.
- Proven ability to build consensus among stakeholders and defend solutions effectively.
- Exceptional communication and relationship management skills.
- Experience in delivering architectural initiatives in digital, cloud, and open-source technologies, with a strong foundation in IT infrastructure.
- Capability to estimate effort and resources, driving optimization across projects.
- Experience working with CXO teams on enterprise-wide initiatives.
- Proficient in assessing customer portfolios and creating strategic roadmaps.
- Adept at collaborating with cross-functional teams and guiding sales efforts.
- Experience in defining IT strategies and roadmaps for clients.
- Ability to mentor teams and Solution Architects.
Desired Skills
- 10-15 years of experience with a strong technical and domain expertise.
