Role Overview
As a Presales Solution Architect, you will play a pivotal role in managing technical collaborations with our Global Systems Integrators. Your primary responsibility will be to customize solutions that align with customer requirements, thereby maximizing our Solutions and Services potential. You will initiate growth strategies, engage in essential technical discussions, and connect clients with our experts for large-scale projects, ensuring our ongoing success.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead activities related to solution ideation and design.
- Collaborate with practice teams to align on vision and expectations for comprehensive solutions.
- Analyze business contexts and challenges to define solution visions and requirements, recommending optimal options.
- Work alongside the GSI team to demonstrate how the solution meets the end client's objectives.
- Integrate Lenovo and partner solutions, utilizing tools and intellectual properties to enhance the design.
- Outline suitable solutions, upgrades, integrations, or decommissioning strategies, focusing on productivity, usability, and total cost of ownership.
- Shape transformational deals in collaboration with senior client executives and business development teams.
- Communicate any pricing adjustments promptly, modifying solutions to fit budgetary constraints while aligning with customer outcomes.
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong understanding of solution approaches based on factors such as Winnability, Profitability, and Deliverability.
- Ability to build consensus among internal and external stakeholders while defending the solution.
- Exceptional communication, relationship management, and customer engagement skills.
- Experience in delivering architectural initiatives in digital, cloud, and open-source technologies, with a solid grasp of IT infrastructure.
- Proficient in effort and resource estimation, alignment, and optimization strategies.
- Experience working with CXO teams on enterprise-wide initiatives in an advisory capacity.
- Background in assessing end customers' portfolios, IT priorities, and insights to develop a strategic roadmap.
- Ability to collaborate in cross-functional teams and guide sales teams in navigating the customer ecosystem.
- Experience in defining IT strategies and roadmaps for clients.
- Capability to mentor teams and Solutions Architects.
Desired Skills
- 10-15 years of experience with strong technical and domain expertise.
- Preferred background in consulting or GSI delivery.
- Value-based consulting methodology with a solutions-oriented mindset.
- Self-motivated and effective in collaborative environments.
