About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as Head of Business Development and Innovation. As a key member of our Strategy & Commercial team, you will be responsible for driving the commercial definition and go-to-market strategy for our platform services and products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Sell our energy flexibility products to asset owners and flexibility buyers
  • Lead customer discovery and drive strategic assessments to ensure an in-depth understanding of customer needs and interests
  • Develop new energy products and services, validate their innovation potential, and steer their implementation process
  • Craft our platform products and services from value proposition to commercial implementation, including customer contracts, service provider agreements, pricing, and regulatory frameworks
  • Funnel prospect and customer feedback to the product and development team on product and service features and roadmaps
  • Define the go-to-market strategy for our platform services and products and ensure our commercial setup is ready to deliver them
  • Test and validate commercial hypotheses and derive insights that you translate into actionable options
  • Arrange and prepare key collaboration contracts with stakeholders of our platform
Requirements
  • Strong negotiation, contract management, and vendor relationship management skills
  • Strong commercial skills with a track record of successfully designing and selling energy products and services to B2B energy clients
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in the energy industry
  • Deep understanding of the energy market including all relevant stakeholders across the value chain
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate complex issues into actionable outcomes
  • Superior sales presentation and entrepreneurial attitude
  • Innovative mindset and willingness to disrupt the energy industry
  • Energetic, communicative, and inspiring leader able to focus on both business and people
  • Knowledge of relevant industry regulations, standards, and best practices
