As a Manager of Strategic Business Development (m/f/d), you will play a key role in shaping the future of VoltStorage by systematically advancing existing strategic business areas and exploring new ones, as well as initiating and actively implementing market launch projects.

I'm Jakob, one of the three founders of VoltStorage GmbH, a Munich-based start-up with over 70 employees. In 2016, together with Michael and Felix, I founded VoltStorage. Our vision was and is to make renewable energy available 24/7 to enable a green, sustainable and fair future. As an expert for stationary flow batteries, we want to cover all application areas of stationary battery storage systems with our multi-technological approach and thus contribute significantly to the energy transition.

To drive forward our major project, I am currently looking for a

Manager Strategic Business Development Renewable Energies (m/f/d).

In this role, you will work closely with the product management and our development department, acting as a competent sparring partner (m/f/d).

Aufgaben
  • Identifying forward-looking trends in the energy sector and evaluating innovative business opportunities for VoltStorage
  • Developing business cases, including financial plans, based on complex data analyses conducted independently for strategic decisions
  • Identifying and acquiring strategically relevant customers
  • Initiating and supporting (market entry) projects in an interdisciplinary setting
  • Taking responsibility for achieving defined project goals and deriving specific follow-up actions
Qualifikation
  • Excellent university degree (preferably with a technical background)
  • Several years of professional experience in management consulting, corporate strategy, business/corporate development, or strategic sales in the energy sector
  • Proven track record in implementing market entry strategies or developing new business areas is desirable
  • Expertise in developing business cases and data preparation and analysis
  • Experience in project management and stakeholder management
  • Enjoyment of working in a fast-paced and scalable environment
  • Entrepreneurial thinking and intrinsic motivation to actively impact our business activities and make renewable energy available around the clock
  • Very good English and German skills
