About the Role

We're seeking a highly motivated Business Development Representative to represent Databricks in Central Europe. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, building relationships with prospective customers, and driving revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute targeted sales strategies to engage with key decision-makers and influencers in the region.
  • Conduct thorough research on accounts and prospects to identify areas of potential value and develop compelling outreach campaigns.
  • Utilize strong communication and interpersonal skills to build trust and rapport with customers, and effectively communicate the value proposition of Databricks' solutions.
  • Collaborate with the wider sales team to develop territory strategies, build pipelines, and drive adoption of Databricks' products.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments in big data and AI, and leverage this knowledge to identify new business opportunities and drive sales growth.
Requirements
  • Proven sales experience, preferably in a business-to-business (B2B) environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to achieve consistent, measurable results in past sales roles.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and colleagues.
  • Fluency in English and German is required.
