Join AXA IM as a Sales and Investor Relations Manager

In this pivotal role, you will report directly to the Senior Sales and Business Developer for Northern Europe and be an integral part of the AXA IM PRIME Business Unit.

AXA IM Prime serves as a comprehensive platform for private assets, providing a range of investment opportunities in private equity, infrastructure equity, private debt, and hedge funds. Our aim is to deliver diversified private market returns through various strategies including primaries, secondaries, co-investments, NAV financing, and GP minority stakes solutions. We collaborate with top-tier fund managers to create tailored investment solutions for institutional investors and wealth managers, promoting sustainable growth over the long term.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with the Head of Sales for the region to establish asset raising objectives across all AXA IM Prime business lines.
  • Implement a strategic sales approach for AXA IM Prime in Germany and Austria, ensuring annual asset raising goals are achieved.
  • Cultivate and enhance third-party assets under management (AuM) in Germany, targeting new accounts including pension funds, insurers, banks, endowments, family offices, and distributors.
  • Stay informed on market trends and competitor offerings to enhance AXA IM Prime's unique selling propositions and product development.
  • Prioritize product pipelines to align with client needs and ensure successful fund launches.
  • Conduct client mapping and prioritize target clients to meet capital raising objectives.
  • Collaborate with other AXA IM sales teams to maximize cross-selling opportunities.
  • Ensure exceptional after-sales support and service delivery to investors.
  • Provide feedback to management and product teams to adapt AXA IM Prime's offerings to evolving investor demands.
  • Maintain an updated CRM with client contacts and new business opportunities.
  • Work alongside portfolio management, structuring, product development, tax, and legal teams to ensure compliance with local regulations.
  • Adhere to AXA IM's regulatory and compliance processes.
Your Profile:
  • A Master's degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field.
  • Relevant experience in the financial sector or asset management industry.
  • Proven track record in raising assets for alternative investment firms.
  • Strong understanding of financial markets and compliance issues.
  • Familiarity with CRM software to support an efficient sales process.
  • Knowledge of ESG policies and industry best practices.
  • Established network with institutional investors in the private assets sector in Germany.
  • Ability to identify business opportunities and maintain high client service standards.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both German and English.
