Join AXA IM as a Sales and Investor Relations Manager

In this pivotal role, you will report directly to the Senior Sales and Business Developer for Northern Europe and become an integral part of the AXA IM PRIME Business Unit.

AXA IM Prime serves as a comprehensive platform for private assets, providing a diverse range of investment opportunities in private equity, infrastructure equity, private debt, and hedge funds. Our focus is on delivering varied sources of returns through primary investments, secondary markets, co-investments, as well as NAV financing and GP minority stakes solutions. We collaborate with top-tier fund managers to craft tailored investment strategies for institutional investors and wealth managers, fostering sustainable growth over the long term.

Key Responsibilities:

As the Sales and Investor Relations Manager, you will collaborate with the Head of Sales for the region to establish asset raising objectives across all AXA IM Prime business lines, including Infrastructure Equity, Private Equity, Private Debt, and Hedge Funds. Your primary responsibilities will encompass:
  • Expanding third-party assets under management (AuM) in Germany and engaging with new accounts such as pension funds, insurers, banks, endowments, family offices, and distributors.
  • Keeping abreast of market trends and competitor offerings to enhance AXA IM Prime's unique selling propositions and develop customized solutions.
  • Prioritizing the product pipeline to align with client needs and ensure successful fund launches.
  • Conducting client mapping and identifying target clients to achieve defined capital raising goals.
  • Collaborating with other AXA IM sales teams to maximize cross-selling opportunities.
  • Ensuring high-quality after-sales support and servicing for investors.
  • Providing ongoing feedback to management and product teams to adapt AXA IM Prime's offerings to evolving investor demands.
  • Maintaining client relationships in CRM and tracking new business opportunities.
  • Coordinating with portfolio management, structuring, product development, tax, and legal teams to ensure compliance with local regulations.
  • Adhering to AXA IM's regulatory and compliance processes.
Your Profile:

We value diverse combinations of skills and experiences. Ideal candidates will possess:
  • A Master's degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field.
  • Initial experience in the financial sector or asset management industry.
  • A proven track record in raising assets for an Alternative Investment firm, particularly in private assets.
  • A solid understanding of financial markets and compliance matters.
  • Proficiency in CRM software to support an efficient sales process.
  • Strong knowledge of ESG policies and industry best practices.
  • An established network with institutional investors in Germany.
  • The ability to structure sales processes and maintain high levels of client service.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both German and English.
