About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Sales and Investor Relations Manager to join our team at AXA Group. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for driving asset raising and business development efforts in Germany and Austria.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to meet asset raising targets for AXA IM Prime business lines, including Infrastructure Equity, Private Equity, Private Debt, and Hedge Funds.
  • Build and maintain relationships with institutional investors, pension funds, insurers, banks, endowments, family offices, distributors, and private wealth managers to grow AXA IM Prime's business in the region.
  • Monitor market developments and competitor offerings to proactively support the improvement of AXA IM Prime's unique selling points and sales pitch.
  • Provide client mapping and target client prioritization to meet defined targets of raising third-party capital.
  • Work collaboratively with other sales teams within AXA IM to maximize cross-selling opportunities.
  • Ensure high standards of after-sales support and servicing are delivered to investors, including reporting, monitoring, and ad-hoc requests.
  • Deliver constant feedback to management and product teams to ensure AXA IM Prime's products evolve to meet changing investor demands.
  • Continually build and maintain client contacts in CRM, along with an up-to-date pipeline of new business opportunities.
  • Work with portfolio management, structuring, product development, tax, and legal teams to ensure marketing of AXA IM Prime products in accordance with local regulations.
  • Follow AXA IM processes from a regulatory and compliance perspective.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field.
  • First experience in the financial sector or asset management industry at similar institutions.
  • Track record of raising assets for an alternative investment firm in private assets, with experience in dedicated mandates and solutions a plus.
  • Good understanding of financial markets (public and private) and compliance matters.
  • Experience with CRM software supporting a structured and efficient sales process.
  • Proven engagement and deep knowledge of ESG policies and industry best practices.
  • Engagement in asset management working groups or investor associations a plus.
  • Network with institutional investors in Germany in the private assets space.
  • Ability to structure sales processes, identify business opportunities, initiate contact with new investors, and maintain ongoing high-level client service to grow AXA IM Prime's business in Germany and Austria.
  • Ability to balance long-term goals with the requirement to meet annual sales targets.
  • Strong understanding of private assets, with special knowledge of client needs and benefits of private market investing.
  • Insights and interest in anticipating future developments in the alternative investment management industry.
  • Open-mindedness towards innovation and the use of tools supporting sales and client servicing.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills, with potential to manage a small team as the platform develops.
  • Ability to thrive in a start-up business within a larger organization.
  • Excellent verbal and written German and English language skills.
  • Willingness to work as part of a team and share success as a team effort.
