JOB OVERVIEW:

We are excited to present a remarkable opportunity for a dynamic Sales Director to join our team in Germany. This role is pivotal in driving the transformation of how businesses manage their data and information on a global scale.

As a trailblazer in cutting-edge technology and innovative software solutions, Commvault encourages its team members to harness their skills and embrace opportunities that make a significant impact. This position offers the chance to lead our sales team in a district-level capacity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assume overall accountability for district sales performance, strategic partnerships, and customer satisfaction.
  • Formulate and execute a comprehensive strategy to enhance Commvault's market presence across all product offerings.
  • Act as a strong coach, mentor, and educator for all Sales Representatives within the district, managing a diverse portfolio of complex named accounts.
  • Expand the reach and sales of Commvault's solutions within targeted accounts, fostering long-term relationships with existing clients while identifying new opportunities.
  • Meet and exceed quarterly revenue targets aligned with Commvault's business objectives.
  • Drive a robust sales pipeline to ensure consistent and predictable revenue growth, surpassing established financial goals for sustainable success.
  • Provide precise sales forecasts on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis, utilizing account and opportunity plans to demonstrate genuine client care and achieve total client satisfaction.
  • Initiate and cultivate relationships with third-party partners to broaden the company's business activities and enhance market penetration.
  • Inspire and lead team members to reach their full potential, ensuring predictable revenue generation and high levels of customer and employee satisfaction.

Candidate Profile

  • Proven track record of success in building and leading sales teams within a Software/SaaS environment, particularly in Data Management, Security, and Cyber Resilience.
  • Demonstrated expertise in driving sales pipelines through channel partnerships.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders at all levels within client organizations and internally.
  • Exceptional negotiation skills with a strong ability to close deals efficiently.
  • Charismatic and experienced presenter with public speaking capabilities.
  • Willingness to travel as necessary.
  • Proficiency in both German and English languages.
